Removing caps for voter approved local levies

Some well-off school districts pass tax levies easily; others can’t. All are capped – should that change?

Minn. school districts: When wealth can\’t be used

Legislation has been introduced to eliminate the cap this year.

Our Parent Legislative Network, opposes removing the cap.  Please see our 02/19/10 “Call to Action”  for more information on why we believe this is not a good idea for our district or the students of MN overall.
